Premium Quality
We offer the highest enzyme activity on the market.
Just 1.5 mg of plant-based protein – but 3.5 μg of pure DAO with maximum preserved activity. It's not about the amount, it's about the quality.

Protected, or it won't work
Gently cold-dried (lyophilized) – for maximum stability.
Unlike heat drying, enzyme activity is much better preserved.

I suffer from histamine intolerance and I'm looking for help...
Today, there are numerous products available for people with histamine intolerance – but their effectiveness can vary greatly. milDAO is a natural food supplement containing 100% vegan DAO enzyme, gently extracted through lyophilization (freeze-drying) of pea sprouts. This process preserves the high quality and activity of the enzyme. DAO (diamine oxidase) is the enzyme responsible for breaking down histamine from food. Because it is highly sensitive to external factors, we protect each tablet in a specialized packaging system. Once opened, we recommend storing the product in the fridge to maintain its stability. During the summer months, we recommend storing milDAO in the refrigerator – regardless of whether the package is opened or not. Dosage: Take one tablet 5–15 minutes before meals that may contain histamine. The recommended daily dose is 3–5 tablets, depending on individual needs and sensitivity. What makes milDAO different: Unlike other products (e.g. Daosin, which is chemically derived from pig kidneys), milDAO is entirely plant-based and free from animal ingredients. Additionally, most competing products fall under the “Novel Food” category, limiting the enzyme content per tablet to about 25,000 HDU. milDAO contains 1,000,000 HDU DAO per tablet – currently the most concentrated DAO product on the market.
I have HIT and SIBO and I'm concerned about pea sprouts.
The diagnosis of histamine intolerance (HIT) in combination with small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is not uncommon. Both conditions can aggravate each other, and symptoms may persist even after treatment. Possible reasons include: – an insufficient restoration of microbial balance in the gut, – unresolved underlying causes of SIBO (e.g. impaired motility, dysbiosis, unsuitable diet), – chronically low DAO enzyme activity and repeated histamine exposure. Pea sprouts and potential risks with SIBO Pea sprouts (like other legume-based sprouts) may be problematic for people with SIBO, especially due to: – their content of fermentable carbohydrates (FODMAPs), particularly galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), – these sugars can ferment in the small intestine and promote further bacterial overgrowth, – which may lead to bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or other digestive symptoms. For people with HIT, the naturally higher content of biogenic amines in sprouts can also be a concern – especially if the sprouts are not extremely fresh. Recommendation If you are dealing with both SIBO and HIT, we recommend consuming pea sprouts only with caution. If you choose to include them: – Use only very fresh sprouts, and only in small amounts, – Take milDAO before the meal to help break down any dietary histamine, – Monitor your body's response carefully and stop consumption if symptoms worsen. Important: Although milDAO is derived from pea sprouts, it contains highly purified, highly concentrated DAO enzyme that is specifically processed – and can be well tolerated even by sensitive individuals. We recommend starting with 1 tablet and a small portion of potentially problematic food.
Is milDAO suitable for children?
The composition of the product is also suitable for young children, and the tablet size is designed to be easy to swallow. However, we recommend that parents assess individually whether the tablet form is appropriate for their child. If needed, the tablet can also be crushed and mixed into a drink, porridge, or yogurt. Although the tablet is gastro-resistant, the enzyme activity is largely preserved even when crushed. By the way; During pregnancy, the body's natural DAO levels can increase up to 500-fold – a natural mechanism through which the mother’s body protects the fetus from excess histamine.
Can I take milDAO daily and long-term?
I have HIT with skin symptoms.
milDAO is safe even for long-term use. The milDAO tablet is small and easy to swallow. Thanks to its gentle processing and transparent formulation, it is designed to be well tolerated — even when taken alongside other medications or dietary supplements. We recommend taking milDAO before meals high in histamine — or three times a day to support balance. Everyone knows their body best, so listen to its signals and adjust the intake accordingly. If you're taking milDAO to restore balance, please keep in mind that the effect may not be immediate. Be patient — for some people, improvements appear after 3 to 5 days, especially if histamine intolerance also shows up through skin symptoms.
